Tatars' wars characteristics

The wars of the Tatars had the following characteristics:

1- Very rapid spread.

2- Elaborate system and great order.

3- Huge numbers of people.

4- Endurance of hard conditions.

5- Excellent military leadership.

6- They were so much heartless, that their wars were unnaturally destructive. It is very easy to read in their history that they invaded such-and-such a city, destroyed everything in it, and massacred all its inhabitants, making no difference between a man and a woman, an infant and a youth, a young and an old person, a wrongdoer and a wronged, and a civilian and a fighter. That was indeed entire genocide, committed by people bloodier than even the most ferocious animals. Their purpose, as put by Al-Muwaffaq ‘Abdul-Lateef in his Khabar At-Tataar, was to exterminate the human race entirely, and destroy the whole world, rather than to attain sovereignty and wealth.

7- Rejection of the other, and enforcement of the monopole principle, according to which the idea of dealing with other surrounding countries was not proposed at all. They strangely claimed that they came only to establish religion, spread justice, and rescue the countries from the wrongdoers.

8- They had no respect for treaties: nothing was easier for them than to revoke treaties and break covenants. They did not observe any pact of kinship or covenant of protection. This attribute was always intrinsic to them, and they did not abandon it at any point of the history of their state since its foundation until its collapse.
Those were the characteristics of the Mongolian army. They are the same characteristics unique to all the armies of the people who do not take into account the heavenly laws and the orders of Allaah, the Almighty. Those are always the features of any people who have power but lack religion. They may vary in crimes and atrocities, but they agree on being criminals.

The wars of the apostates were almost the same, and so were the wars of the Persians, the wars of the Romans, the wars of the Crusaders in Ash-Shaam and Egypt, and the wars of the Crusaders in Andalusia. The same method was adopted by their succeeding colonizers, from among the Spanish, the Portuguese, the English, the French, the Italians, the Jews and the Americans. As different as they may be in appearance and features, they have the same hearts, filled with grudge, resentment, hatred and aversion for anything that is Islamic or civilized.

Exalted be Allaah, the Almighty who says about them (what means): {Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.} [Quran 51:53]
