It was said that a man was walking in one of African jungles where the beauties of nature, tall trees grow due to its location on the equator. He was enjoying watching the scene of the trees which they cover the sun’s rays, listening to the chirp of sparrows, smelling the fragrance of the flowers etc.
While he was enjoying the beauties of nature, he heard a sound of quick foot steps running behind him, the sound became nearer and nearer, he looked back and saw a huge lion rushing towards him, it was very ravenous, looking for anything to eat.
The man began running quickly and the lion was behind him, the man didn’t know what he can do… how he can flee, the lion became closer, finally the man found out a well, he jumped into it, he found himself fall down deeply .. he grasped a rope which is used to pull the water , and the man began to swing right and left inside the well, and when he caught his breath, calmed down and the roar of the lion turned down, he heard a sound of a big long snake inside the well. While he was thinking about a way to save himself from the lion and the snake, he saw two rats one was with black colour and another was white climbed up into the rope, and they began to gnaw the rope, then the man was very afraid, he began to swing the rope to take the rats away, he was swinging the rope more and more until he was swinging right and left inside the deep well, he touched something gluey by his elbow, and found out it was honey of bees which build their nests in mountains, on trees and inside caves, the man began to taste the delicious honey, he took one lick then another one.. then another and forgot his hard situation, and suddenly he woke up… it was a nightmare.
Afterwards he decided to go to someone to interpret his dream. He went to an old shiekh and told him about his dream, the old man laughed and asked him “ didn’t you know its interpretation?”
The man answered “ No… I don’t know… tell me”
The sheikh said” the lion which was running behind you is the angel of the death that pursue you. The well and the snake are your grave. The rope which you hold it is your age. And finally the black and white rat are the day and night which decrease your age bit by bit !!”.
The man said “ what about the honey “
The sheikh said “ it is the sweet Dynia -world’s life- which was distracting you from reminding death and hereafter !!!!”
