The Tatars headed northward until when they were finished from Chechnya, they arrived at the basin of the Russian Volga River, and fought the dwellers of those territories who were Christians, and executed massacres against them, and committed against them the same atrocities they had previously committed against the Muslims.
By the end of 618 A.H., the Tatars reached the Russian territories, and took control of all the regions lying between the East of China and South-West of Russia.
