Doaa Arafa
This is what the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, affirmed that the best supplication was what was on the day of Arafa, and he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The best supplication is a supplication on the day of Arafa” [1]. Al-Baji said: “That is, the greatest reward, and the closest answer” [2]. And close to this interpretation, the owner of the selector stated it saying clearly the meaning of the hadeeth: “He, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, wants that he is more rewarded for the one who is calling, and closer to the answer, because the credit for the one who is called is the reward and the number of answers.” [3].
Therefore, on the day of Arafah, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to revive the Prayer and supplication. Describing his argument, peace and blessings be upon him, Ibn Al-Qayyim said: “When the situation came - meaning Arafa - he stood at the tail of the mountain at the rocks, received the qiblah, and made the rope of infantry in his hands, and he was on his back, so he began to pray, supplicate, and pray until the sun sets, and he was in his supplication raising His hands to his chest as feeding the poor "[4].
From the significance of the characteristic of his argument - peace and blessings be upon him - scholars deserved to those whom God has attained to stand by knowing that the number of prayers on the day of Arafa is frequent, standing and walking, standing and walking, lying down, and God Almighty urges him to write from the people of forgiveness, and for him to be freed from the fire, And he asks his Lord from the benevolence of the world and the Hereafter until the sun sets, in order for him to do so, upon him be peace and blessings be upon him [5]. Ibn Abd al-Barr said: “And it contains from the jurisprudence that the supplication on the day of Arafa is better than others, and in the hadith also evidence that the supplication on the day of Arafa is answered mostly” [6].
With regard to what has been raised and received from the recommended supplication regarding the Day of Arafah:
First: What was proven from the hadith of Amr bin Shuaib on the authority of his father on the authority of his grandfather that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The best supplication is a supplication on the day of Arafah, and the best of what I and the prophets said before me: There is no god but God alone, there is no partner for him, the king has praise And he is able to do all things "[7].
Here is a valid question: Why was he called the saying "There is no god but God ... supplication," and it is known that he mentioned?
Imam Al-Tabari answers this question by saying: "Rather, this dhikr was called supplication in three ways:
One of them is that when praise occurs better than supplication, it is called the word supplication. For the intended purpose, Al-Hussein bin Al-Hassan Al-Marwazi said: I asked Sufyan bin Uyaynah about the best supplication on the day of Arafa, and he said: There is no god but God ... etc., so I said to him: This is praise and not a supplication. He said: Did you not know what Umayah bin Abi Al-Salt said when Abdullah bin Jadaan came asking for his supporter? So I said: No. And illiteracy said:
Remember my need, or my shame has ceased. *** Your shame
Being aware of the rights and you are a favor *** is polite and praise
As a person praised you one day *** stop being praised
Then he said: O Hussein, this is a creature who is content with praise without matter, so how about the Creator ?!
The second aspect: its meaning means the best thing that opens "the best of what the prophets and I said before me: There is no god but God alone, he has no partner, he has the king, and he has praise, and he is able to do all things," and the other hadith indicates that he said: "The best supplication is that I say: There is no god but God alone and has no partner ... "[8].
The third: Its meaning is the best thing that can be replaced by supplication on the day of Arafah, there is no god but God ... and the first is aspects [9].
Second: It is mustahabb for the pilgrim to make a lot of cheering and magnification on the day of Arafa; On the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them, he said: “We were with the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, on the morrow of Arafah, so we were the arrogant one, and we were cheerful ...” [10]. The cheering and supplication supplication; Because it is similar to attracting the kindness of God Almighty, as mentioned by Mulla Ali Al-Qari [11]. Therefore, the predecessors preferred to zoom in on the day of Arafa as Muhammad bin Sirin says: "I made the pilgrimage of Ibn Al-Zubayr so I heard him on the day of Arafa saying: Except that the best supplication today is magnification. This is best for him, and God knows best. On the authority of Wabra, he said: I asked Ibn Omar about Talbiyah on the day of Arafat, He said: Zoom is the most beloved of me. [12]
Third: Talbiyah, and it is permissible for the Muharram when it reaches its meeqaat, so when the companions meet, or when it has risen an honor, or it descends a valley, and in the rituals of the prayers, the coming of the night, and the beginning of the day, it is not interrupted until the beginning of the throwing of the Jamarat of Aqaba on the day of slaughter, as stipulated in that The majority of jurists. Among the total of those citizens in which the meeting is confirmed on the day of Arafa; On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them: “Osama bin Zaid was the back of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, from Arafat to Muzdalifah. Then he added the credit from Muzdalifah to Mina. He said: Both of them said: The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, continued to meet until he threw the Jamarat of Aqaba.” [13]. Ibn Baz, may God have mercy on him, says: “And it remains there (i.e. in Arafa) until sunset, working on dhikr, supplication, reading the Qur’an, and meeting until the sun sets, and it is prescribed to say a lot: There is no god but God alone who has no partner ...” [14] ].
In general, it is in the position of Arafah to multiply the dhikr and supplications mentioned in the Sharia at all times, especially in this place, and on this great day, and the slave must choose the mosques of dhikr and supplication.
So congratulations to you, Abdullah ...
Whoever stands in Arafat next to a people who dare to God with burning hearts and tears ahead! How many of them are afraid, disturbed by fear and worried! And a lover, who longed for burning and burned it! Hopefully best of God's promise and sincerity! And a fugitive sought refuge in the door of God and his ways! How much is required of the fire that God saved and emancipated, and from the toughest of the wings, loosen it and released it! And then the most merciful of them will see them, and boast of gathering them the people of heaven, and approaching then saying: What did these people want? Upon arriving, we cut off the deprivation, and gave them the end of their compassionate question [15].
Oh God, please do not forbid us, and afflicted us with their knees, and our last prayer is that praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
