And his saying: {{Even if it dreads and becomes dreadful from their hearts, they say: What did your Lord say: The truth, and He is the Most High: The conscience is closer. It was on the Day of Resurrection, and he was afraid of the hearts of the polytheists, that is: the panic ceased, and when their minds returned to them, they were asked about their condition in this world, and their denial of the truth that the messengers brought, that they acknowledge that what they are of disbelief and polytheism is invalid, and that what God said, And I told his messengers about him, he is the truth, so it seemed to them that they had not hidden before and they knew that the truth belongs to God, and they confessed their sins. {{{He is the Most High}}} by itself, above all his creatures and his subjugation for them, and his superiority, with his great qualities, of great value {{the great}} in himself and his attributes. And from his height, his judgment is exalted, and souls submit to him, even the souls of the arrogant and polytheists. This meaning is clearer, and it is indicated by the context, and it is possible that the conscience belongs to the angels, and that is that if God Almighty spoke by revelation, the angels heard him, and they shocked, and fell down to God in prostration, so he would be the first to raise his head Gabriel, so God would speak to him from his revelation as he wanted, and if he was removed The angels were stunned from the hearts, and the dread was removed, so they asked each other about the words that they were shocked by: What did your Lord say? Then some of them say to each other: He said the truth, either in general, because they know that he only says a truth, or they say: He said such-and-such, according to the words that they heard from him, and that is from the truth.
